Overview
PEI-Genesis has previously supported Crane Electronics with Amphenol 62GB and ITT Cannon KPT circular connectors.
As well as continuing to support you with the 62GB and KPT ranges, I wanted to highlight a few other areas across the Crane torque measurement range where we may also be able to help.
I’ve included a few suggestions around cable assemblies, rugged and compact connectors, control and data connectivity, and options for harsher environments. There may be nothing you need to change, but hopefully there are one or two useful ideas in there for current or future projects.

Why PEI-Genesis?
Known starting point. Crane has already purchased 62GB and KPT families through PEI, so we can begin with an existing BOM rather than a blank sheet.
More than loose connectors. Where useful, PEI can support connectors, accessories and finished cable assemblies together.
No forced redesign. If the existing part is right, the job is simply to support it. Alternatives only matter where packaging, environment, availability or lifecycle creates a reason to look again.
